About us

We are two Swedes who have experienced the pain, thrill, and joy of moving abroad ourselves a few years ago. When we packed our bags, booked a one-way flight, and took the leap of relocating abroad, we faced all the struggles of getting settled as foreigners in a new country.

We spent endless hours searching for relevant information about obtaining a residence permit, getting a personal ID, signing up for various services, securing insurance, electricity, broadband, and getting a mobile plan.

Realizing we were complete rookies in our new home country, we quickly recognized that, when it comes to Sweden, we know the ins and outs. With over 10 years of experience working in subscription management across mobile, broadband, electricity, insurance, and more, we have all the knowledge needed to help newcomers get settled in this beautiful country in the North.

Now that we’ve moved back to Sweden, we decided to put our knowledge and experience to good use and help newcomers in Sweden spend less time figuring out how things work here, and more time enjoying their new place to call home.

We want to be the help we desperately needed when we were newcomers in a new country, and our mission is to make settling in Sweden as easy as possible for you. And if you haven’t had the chance to make any Swedish friends yet—consider us your first ones.

With over 10 years of experience in subscription management and a few years living abroad, I’m very excited to now help newcomers get settled here in Sweden. I’m a copy-junkie in charge of most of our content, and often find myself deep-diving into the most random topics for way too long.

Organized, structured, and clear—that's me in a nutshell, and it’s also my vision for how things should be for our community of newcomers in Sweden. With years of experience in the subscription business and living abroad, I understand how tough it can be to navigate even the most basic things in a new country. That's why we're here to help.
