About the Role

‍We’re on the lookout for a talented content writer to help our growing community of newcomers in Sweden through engaging, creative, and personalized content. You’ll be a key player in creating content and telling the stories that speaks directly to newcomers in Sweden, helping them navigate life here with ease. Maybe you’re a newcomer in Sweden yourself, with personal insight into the challenges of moving and settling here?

What You’ll Do

• Write engaging, compelling, and creative copy for our website, ensuring every word reflects our mission and tone.
• Write insightful articles and blog posts on topics relevant to newcomers in Sweden—covering everything from moving tips to local insights.
• Dive into research to figure out new interesting content ideas that resonate with our audience.
• Get content assignments on a regular basis, working flexibly to deliver quality content.
• Content revisions for existing copy pieces.
• Collaborate with our other content writers.

About You

We want you to be yourself and bring all your personality, background, and experiences to our team. We're human-first in everything we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares that approach. Alongside this, we want you to bring your knowledge and skills in:

• SEO: Strong understanding of SEO, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• English Proficiency: Native-level English proficiency required, whether you’re a native speaker or have advanced fluency with a natural, engaging tone.
• Copywriting or Content Writing: You bring experience as a copywriter or content writer—whether through professional work, a natural talent for copy, or relevant education.
• Authorized to Work in Sweden: You must have the legal ability to work in Sweden as a freelancer or contractor.
• Remote-First: You thrive working within a remote-first work environment.

Bonus

• Experience with Webflow CMS.
• Experience with Affiliate Marketing and Performance-based Marketing.
• Experience working with AI-tools.
• Experience with creating multi-channel content, repurposing, (SoMe) and content creation for platforms like Instagram or LinkedIn.
