How do I navigate the Swedish work culture?

Swedish work culture is generally all about balance and equality. Hierarchies are flat, and everyone’s opinion is valued. You're encouraged to lead, take initiative and ask questions. Punctuality is crucial, and meetings are generally efficient and to the point. Fika breaks are sacred, so don’t skip out on them—it’s a great time to bond with colleagues. Swedes also love vacation time, so expect a slower pace during the summer when everyone’s off enjoying their semester. As with everything though, there's of course no one-rule or one-shoe fits all, every employer and workplace in Sweden have their own way-of-work and company culture.
